My mission: Empowering equestrians to transform their relationship to self, Spirit and others so their ability to create exceptional results with their horse is forever changed.

I am a coach for the heart, mind and character of the equestrian. I assert we bring velocity to our endeavors when we come from full integrity, responsibility, joy, leadership and love. I work with such concepts as presence, confidence, completion, power, joy, effortlessness, vision, intention, compassion, and relationship. Growing our capacity to embody these qualities allows us to be the best human for our horse. From there, we can expand our capacity to excel at our sport.

Are you already a champion, but looking for that 5 or 10% more? Are you stuck at some place in your riding mentally or emotionally? Are you a trainer and want to provide that intangible ‘something more’ for your students? Do you want the best coaching team possible?

In private coaching we work one-on-one, in person or over the telephone or Skype. Yes, phone sessions work just fine! When I am working with my coach, I actually prefer them! We work for about an hour once a week. The sessions are focused completely on you and your goals. In between sessions there will be practices to work with which help you incorporate the learning we co-created during your coaching session. I may work with you for a couple of months to support you in reaching a short term goal, or we could coach over a longer time frame which allows you to take on and incorporate larger transformations.

Group coaching comes about because a group of friends or colleagues ask me to put on a course OR I am asked by several different people to put a group together around a certain topic and we all go out and find other participants interested in the same topic to fill the class. Group coaching could be valuable around such themes as confidence in the show ring, over coming fears, building a closer relationship to your horse or managing your time to simplify your life and make more time for riding. Group coaching can spans multiple weeks and be done via a conference call. Group coaching can also be in person in a workshop or clinic format.

Essence workshops last 6 hours and support us in gaining awareness of our own internal essence as well as gaining awareness of the essence of our horse. We also talk about how life goes when we are or aren’t living from our essence with special focus on the impact of our relationship to our horse. When we can consciously choose to be in our essence we gain access to our unlimited potential. This workshop provides the foundational experiences of essence.

Horse Dialog™ is an awareness technique that I have adapted from Voice Dialog developed by Drs Hal and Sidra Stone. Horse Dialog™ supports the ability to be non-judgmental, to develop an objective perspective, and to grow our awareness of both ourselves and our horse. Horse Dialog™ can be done individually or in a group setting. Once you master the concepts of Horse Dialog™ it is a tool that you can use on your own.

I am a certified professional coach and co-founder and co-owner of Burg Rivers Life and Business Coaching. We are a woman-owned business established in 2004. I have been an equestrian for the past 20 years and for the past 6 years have been a breeder of warmbloods.
